Windy Meadows Chicken, Lamb and Beef, Grass finished, pasture fed

Here at Windy Meadows Family Farm in northeast Texas, we raise pastured chicken for health-conscious Texas families and taste-discriminating Dallas area restaurants. Our chickens are not given antibiotics or growth hormones as they are naturally healthier and disease-free living on our chemical-free pastures instead of being condemned to the usual poultry confinement housing. Because our chickens have constant access to the outdoors and their traditional diet of greens and insects, they are higher in essential omega-3 fatty acids and lower in saturated fat. Our free range chickens are not subjected to chemicals during processing in our small on-site state inspected processing facility using USDA standards. The result is nutritionally superior and heart healthy chicken with incredible old-fashioned flavor.

We are a large family with eight children that lives and works on our farm in rural East Texas. Our concern for our children's food safety led us to the decision to raise pastured chicken without added hormones or antibiotics.

We process the pastured chicken ourselves in our state-inspected facility on our farm. Many of our chickens grace the finest restaurants in Dallas.
